Loods 5, founded in 1999, is a leading Dutch home decor retail chain with five locations: Amersfoort, Duiven, Maastricht, Sliedrecht, and Zaandam. The concept of Loods 5 is based on collaboration with hundreds of participants, each offering a unique assortment, resulting in a diverse and constantly changing selection. This setup makes Loods 5 an inspiring destination for interior and design enthusiasts.​

Approach

To effectively position District 70 within the Loods 5 concept, we took the following steps:

  1. Shop-in-shop concept: We opened a shop-in-shop in three Loods 5 stores, starting with Sliedrecht, followed by Amersfoort, and most recently Zaandam. These mini-shops within Loods 5 showcase the District70 assortment in a way that seamlessly fits the aesthetics and atmosphere of Loods 5.​
  2. Strategic product placement: District 70’s products have been positioned to attract the attention of both pet owners and interior enthusiasts, increasing the brand’s visibility and appeal.​
