The first time
Put some dry food or treats directly into the loose cloth mouse skin and let your cat play and snack with it, so that your cat learns how it works.

Getting the hang of it
Put the cloth mouse skin back on the plastic Hunting Snacker. Add dry food or treats and leave the dispenser hole fully open so your cat will be rewarded as soon as he or she learns to use the Hunting Snacker. As your cat becomes more adept at it, you can make the game more difficult by making the dispenser hole smaller.

The expert
Is your cat an expert by now? Make the game even more challenging by hiding the Hunting Snacker in nice places in the house.
