• Flaxseed oil (source of Omega-3): contains the fatty acids linoleic acid (LA) and alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). ALA is partly converted in the body into the omega-3 fatty acid eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). EPA has a favourable effect on several processes in the body, particularly on the cells in the skin. The linoleic acid (LA) that is present is particularly important for a correct moisture balance in the skin.
• Cold-pressed borage oil (Omega-6): contains the highest concentration of omega-6 fatty acid gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), it has a favourable effect on several processes in the body, including the skin. Borage oil also contains a high level of LA.
